There are two ways to track your speed. You can track the speed post through the India Post website by entering the consignment number assigned to you on the India Post website. You have to enter the 13-digit alpha-numeric consignment number in the search box shown below. The consignment number is printed on the booking receipt.

The second method is that you can call India Post customer care, i.e., on 18002666868 between 9am and 6pm, and find the letter location.
When calling customer care, you have to enter the 13 digit IVR number which is printed on your booking receipt. After entering the IVR number, you have to press the # key on your mobile phone.
If the above process still does not resolve your query, you can talk to a customer care agent by selecting IVR option No. 9.
If your mobile number is entered in the booking software while booking your speed post letter, you will receive delivery confirmation once the article is delivered to the addressee. Hence, you should always ask the booking clerk to enter your mobile number while booking a speed post letter, so you get a timely update about your consignment.
